Five CBD is a brand that has built their entire reputation off of crafting full-spectrum products. Five specializes in making CBD products that are truly full-spectrum: they include not only CBD, but large quantities of minor cannabinoids, flavonoids, and terpenes.
This way, customers are able to experience the entourage effect—the phenomenon that implies that cannabis products perform best when their components are enjoyed synergistically. And they do! For the most part, these products did produce more full-bodied, corner-to-corner effects better than other full-spectrum CBD extracts I’ve tried.
However, Five CBD seems to fall short in terms of any transparency or personalization about the company. I have no clue who is behind it, why the company was created, or even what kind of extraction processes are used. They’re quick to defend their full-spectrum blends, but that’s pretty much all that’s known about this brand. For someone new to CBD and experienced consumers, this company is only a shell of a brand. So what’s my rating? Well, it’s a toss up but I give it a solid 7.5 out of 10.
Five CBD’s products are made well, look somewhat high-quality, and have decent flavor profiles. When consumed or taken, these products require some time to take effect; but, the results are potent and full-bodied. From lessened anxiety to reduced muscle soreness, these products work well. However, the company’s transparency on their extraction methods is not known.

When I was scrolling through Five CBD’s limited product line, I was immediately drawn toward the 6,000 mg. CBD oil. It’s not easy to find affordable oils with that high of CBD concentrations, so I had to try it out. The taste was unbelievably strong, but so were the effects. In about 20 minutes, I could feel the CBD start to work from head to toe. Soon, I was enveloped in a blanket of bliss and pain relief. This oil is wonderful for all you experienced cannabis consumers out there needing an extra dose of support.
Five CBD Chocolates
Five CBD’s hemp-infused chocolates are made with a 5:1 CBD to minor cannabinoids ratio. This is to prove that their products contain the fullest, most all-encompassing full-spectrum blend possible. At 50 mg. of CBD, these edibles are quite potent and the hemp flavor is obvious. For beginners, you could easily split a chocolate in half for your daily dose. Effects hit me in under an hour, and I found myself feeling a lot more uplifted than usual. I had a positive mindset, was comfortable, and simply felt like myself again.
While I’m not a huge fan of the way that they packaged their chocolate edibles, I’m a fan of the potency they brought. These chocolates have quite a strong hemp aftertaste, but the chocolate itself is yummy. I ate one whole square and found myself decompressing in less than an hour. With reduced soreness and a calm mind, I was happy with Five’s unique 5:1 minor cannabinoids ratio.

If you’re looking for a strong CBD oil that’s going to get the job done, this is the oil for you. Five CBD’s signature CBD oils are offered in strengths ranging from 1,500 mg. all the way up to a whopping 6,000 mg. Most companies don’t even offer products with that high of milligrams, but this is a wonderful option for anyone needing more serious support. The flavors are super strong, as usual, but I was happy with the fast-acting, potent results I experienced. (I just wish I knew how they made their extracts.)
Packaged simply but with more care than their edibles, Five’s CBD oil is strong, both in flavor and potency. Thankfully, the flavors are easy to get through as effects kick in rather quickly and with force. In about 30 minutes, I found my muscles unclenching and my body relaxing from head to toe.

Five CBD’s 25 mg. capsules are packed full of both CBD and other minor cannabinoids, creating a much more full-bodied experience. They’re easy to consume and don’t come with any residual taste, which I’ve found frequently with other soft gels. It was best to take these in the morning, as the effects were uplifting and motivating—perfect for before work. Unfortunately, I still don’t know how Five extracts their CBD, and this left me hesitant.
Five CBD’s 25 mg. capsules are taste-free and full-spectrum. The effects kicked in after about 45 minutes, and I found that they were gentle and uplifting. While the results weren’t as potent as their oil, it was nice for a more mild dosage. Ideal for CBD beginners and those hoping to boost their mood, these capsules do the trick.

Five CBD’s multi-flavored 5:1 CBD gummies aren’t great, but they aren’t awful either. The gummies don’t have any specific taste, other than slightly sweet but mostly hemp. The texture is chewy and easy to handle, but not as candy-like as other gummies I’ve tried. You can buy 25 mg. or 50 mg. options depending on the strengths that you need. Five CBD even offers gummies infused with melatonin in case you need help sleeping. The original gummies, however, gave me just full-body feelings of calm and balance.
Five CBD’s gummies are packaged with a simplistic design and no specific flavors to distinguish. The texture is average, but nothing special. Effects kicked in after about an hour, and I found myself feeling quite decompressed throughout the body. If these gummies tasted better, I would like them a whole lot more.

Five CBD is a brand to not ignore and if you enjoy cannabis as much as I do, the best way to honor any plant, is to not be afraid of trying something new. You might like consuming your CBD in the form of an oil, however, take a shot at trying something different and opt for edibles the next time around — who knows you just might find a new staple to add into your wellness arsenal.
While CBD may be able to provide a number of therapeutic benefits, it’s important to know that research is ongoing and that it’s a personal experience that will vary based on a number of factors. Nonetheless, Five CBD is definitely my favorite CBD companies in 2021 and will be on my radar!
